Title Agents were required to collect the policy guarantee fee for each owners and loan (mortgagee) policy issued update through December 31, 2013 and remit those fees quarterly to TTIGA.  The amount of the fee is set by TTIGA's Board of Directors and currently is $0.00 per policy effective January 1, 2014.

The Due Dates are:  NO DUE DATE. The Guaranty Fee collection is in hiatus since the fee has been set to zero.  There are no due dates currently; however, if you find any "STRAGGLERS" for fees collected prior to January 1, 2014, please see below for how to remit them.  They should be remitted as soon as they are found.

For Stragglers--see the corresponding dates for the proper fee rate:

GF Remittance Stragglers 2012-2013 $2.00

Now that the GF is in hiatus, you may still come across fees that were "collected" or "closed" in prior years/quarters for $2, $5 or $1, but were not "funded" until much later, and they weren't remitted. These fees are called "Stragglers" by TTIGA.  Remit them with the old $2, $5, or $1 form with the quarter dates set to the proper quarter (i.e. if closed in October 2012, then put the dates of Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2012 and that they were due Feb. 1, 2013) on the form.  Also write at the top "Straggler" or "Supplemental."  Send them in as soon as you know about them.  They are not to be remitted with the GARC fees, because the fees are deposited in different accounts.  Thank you.
